How Does the Exitus Elite Sales Team Work?

One of the more unusual parts of the Exitus Elite business model is that members do not necessarily have to handle every sales conversation themselves.

Exitus Elite offers an optional Sales Team that can step in when a prospect has reviewed the opportunity, watched the presentation, and still has questions before making a decision.

For someone who is comfortable creating content, generating traffic, or building funnels — but does not want to spend their day on sales calls — that can sound attractive.

But what does the service actually do?

And just as importantly:

What does it not do?

This article breaks down the Sales Team, the costs, the role it plays in the funnel, and the numbers that actually matter.

The Basic Idea

The Exitus Elite Sales Team is an optional closing service.

According to Exitus Elite, members can switch the service on or off from their back office. When enabled, prospects can contact the Sales Team for help instead of relying entirely on the individual member to handle the sales conversation.

The basic journey looks something like this:

Traffic → Presentation → Interested Prospect → Sales Team → Decision

That distinction matters.

The Sales Team does not replace the beginning of the funnel.

You still need people to discover the offer and reach the presentation in the first place.

What the Exitus Elite Sales Team Actually Does

Exitus describes the service as inbound-only.

When a prospect contacts the Sales Team, the team can:

This can remove one of the parts of online business that many people find uncomfortable:

personally handling the closing conversation.

But that does not mean the Sales Team runs the entire business for you.

What the Sales Team Does Not Do

This is probably the most important distinction.

The Sales Team is not designed to:

The prospect needs to reach the point where they choose to contact the team.

In other words:

The Sales Team can help close a prospect. It does not create the prospect.

You still need a traffic and marketing system.

That may involve:

The Sales Team sits much further down the customer journey.

How Much Does the Exitus Elite Sales Team Cost?

Exitus states that the Sales Team receives 20% of a sale that it closes.

A simplified $1,000 example looks like this:

That creates a simple trade-off.

If you close the sale yourself

You may retain the full commission available to you at your membership level.

If the Sales Team closes the sale

You retain 80%, while 20% goes toward the closing service.

Neither option is automatically better.

The more useful question is:

Does using the Sales Team generate enough additional completed sales to justify giving up 20% of those commissions?

That requires data.

Why This Setup Is Interesting

Many affiliate programs follow a simple path:

Affiliate → Traffic → Merchant Sales Page → Merchant Checkout

Exitus Elite uses a somewhat different structure.

Members can handle their own sales or allow the optional Sales Team to handle inbound sales conversations.

That creates an interesting middle ground:

You can focus on generating the prospect without necessarily having to personally close every sale.

For some people, that could be useful.

For others, retaining the additional 20% may be more valuable.

The only meaningful way to know is to measure it.

The Sales Team Does Not Remove the Need for Marketing

Imagine this simplified funnel:

1,000 visitors
→ 50 leads
→ 10 serious prospects
→ 3 contact the Sales Team
→ 1 sale

The Sales Team influences only the final part of that journey.

If nobody reaches the presentation, there is nobody for the Sales Team to speak with.

If the traffic is poorly targeted, professional closing may not solve the problem.

If prospects do not understand or trust the offer, very few may ever call.

That is why the full funnel matters:

Traffic → Leads → Presentation Engagement → Sales Conversations → Sales → Profit

As explained in The Journey From Click to Opportunity, a sale is only one stage in a much longer process.

The better question is not:

Does the call center make sales?

It is:

What does it cost to produce one profitable customer through the entire system?

That is the number worth knowing.

A Simple Margin Example

Suppose a business spends $500 generating traffic and ultimately produces one $1,000 commission.

If the member closes the sale personally

Commission: $1,000
Traffic cost: $500
Remaining amount before other expenses: $500

Now assume the Sales Team closes the same sale.

Using the stated 20% Sales Team fee:

Commission: $1,000
Sales Team fee: $200
Remaining commission: $800
Traffic cost: $500
Remaining amount before other expenses: $300

At first glance, using the Sales Team looks less profitable.

But that comparison can be misleading.

What if the member would not have closed that prospect personally?

Then the relevant comparison could be:

$800 commission before traffic and other costs

versus:

no sale at all.

That is why real conversion data matters.

Without it, you are guessing.

What I Would Track

If I were evaluating the Sales Team as part of a real online business, I would want to track at least:

Eventually, an even better comparison would be:

Sales Team ON

versus:

Sales Team OFF

That would help answer a much more useful question:

Does outsourcing the closing process improve the final margin?

That is exactly the kind of thing Visible Margin is designed to examine.

Not just revenue.

The margin behind it.

Who Might Find the Sales Team Useful?

The service may be particularly attractive to someone who:

It may be less useful for someone who:

That is why the optional nature of the Sales Team matters.

What Is the Sponsor’s Role?

The sponsor and Sales Team are not the same thing.

A simplified structure looks like this:

Sponsor / Member

The person who introduced the prospect to Exitus Elite.

Marketing System

The pages, presentations, emails, and other material used to explain the opportunity.

Sales Team

The people available to answer inbound questions and potentially help close the sale.

How This Fits Into the Wider Exitus Elite Model

The Sales Team is only one component of the overall system.

I have already looked at Exitus Elite more broadly here:

The Sales Team addresses one specific bottleneck:

the gap between an interested prospect and a completed sale.

But it does not solve every other bottleneck.

The Visible Margin View

The Exitus Elite Sales Team addresses a genuine operational issue:

Not everyone who can generate traffic wants to become a salesperson.

The service being optional is useful.

The 20% closing fee also means it should not be treated as free leverage.

Ultimately, I would judge the Sales Team using four questions:

How many qualified prospects reach the team?

How many of those prospects become customers?

How much does it cost to acquire those prospects?

What margin remains after the Sales Team fee and every other business expense?

If those numbers work, the Sales Team may be valuable.

If they do not, simply having a professional closing service available does not fix the economics.

That is the Visible Margin approach:

Build it. Measure it. Show the numbers.
